My name is Deborah Rose Green and I'm a twenty-year-old writer and editor with a vivid imagination and passion for creative aesthetics.
In July 2019 and September 2020, I self-published two middle grade fantasy, adventure novels: Dragon Pearls (2019) and Crown My Heart. My favourite things to write about include history and mythology and I currently have several projects on the go! When I'm not writing my own books, I'm editing other peoples through my job as Editorial Assistant for Alee Anderson, a Nashville-based ghostwriter whose clients have been published by Thomas Nelson Publishers, HarperCollins, BenBella Books, Simon & Schuster, and more. I also oversee the blog 'Hey! Young Writer'!, for young writers, by young writers.
My mission is to support and encourage young writers on their journey to publication. If you need some advice or if you would like to ask a question, reach out to me on social media or send me an email.

A mixture of fantasy and adventure with a hint of romance, 'Crown My Heart' is about
a young woman learning what it means to be a queen, a friend and herself. Having
taken her place as Queen of the pearl dragons, Elizabeth Gwin is pressured from
every side. Forced by an unforeseen villain to seek out Rosanna Mae Dranra, Elizabeth
embarks on a journey to save those she cares for, the dragon tribes and herself. In
pursuit of her happily ever after, she's forced to face magic and horrors beyond anything
she could ever have imagined.
Musing For Meaning is an online portfolio collection of my poetry, short stories, extracts and articles. I explores themes such as history, fantasy, nature and philosophy as well as writing theory for young writers and aspiring authors!

'I have been looking forward to Deborah Rose Green’s sequel to Dragon Pearls, and I was not disappointed. We find our heroine, Elizabeth Gwin, two years on, now settled as queen of the Pearl Dragons, on the island of Opscurio in the Mythical Romani, "the home of dragons and magic.” Here the author has created an evocative, vivid imaginary landscape of verdant trees and gentle skies that feels...'
